The Memmert HPP750Life supplements the Peltier-cooled Memmert HPP series of Constant Climate Chambers.
In the Memmert HPP750Life constant climate chamber animals can be kept in a specific pathogen free (SPF) state, keeping mice and rats in compliance with GV Solas guidelines. Ideally the HPP750Life climate chamber would be located in a clean room.
In order to guarantee the recommended relative humidity of between 45% and 65% for the humane keeping of mice, even at low temperatures, Memmert integrated a compressed air drying feature into the HPP750Life. The temperature and humidity working range can be increased by connecting an HPP750Life unit to a central compressed air supply. This makes dehumidification of the air down to 10 % relative humidity in the appliance possible even at 10 ºC.
Other additions to the HPP series standard equipment include an exhaust air unit in the back of the chamber and 4 swivel-type LED light strips (2 for each of the 2 supplied grid shelves) for adjusting the interior lighting in steps of 1%. For simulation of day and night rhythm, the built in LED shelf illumination can be programmed using the AtmoCONTROL software.
The Peltier technology used in the HPP Constant Climate Chambers provides heating and cooling with little vibration, in a compact appliance that conserves energy.
Double doors are standard, an exterior door of stainless steel and an interior one of glass. This feature reduces the potential for contamination and drops or rises in temperature and humidity, yet gives an optimal view of a sensitive load through wide interior glass doors
